Every time i try to impose my will on something, i become very irritated. it's not enough to wish something to be, that just underscores our own impotence. the ideal situation for me is a communion between will and chance. that is a much more reasonable description of what a situation truly is. there is nothing in this human situation that is not expressed through that dichotomy.
